Seventh Generation Energy Systems
In 2002, our founders envisioned an organization that would help to cultivate clean renewable energy in the Midwest, to encourage decisions that create a sustainable world for the next seven generations. SGES came out of that vision and thus began the trek to educate citizens through the implementation of renewable energy systems.
As we grew in numbers and experience, we worked diligently to build the networks to support our mission. The Midwest Renewable Energy Association and Focus on Energy played a significant role in supporting our efforts. We are recognized as a trailblazer in the growth of renewable energy in the Midwest. To date, we have developed a strong client base and organizational presence.
Where we are today - Systems Integration
In 2010, we have reached a point in our growth and non-profit structure that we are ready to create a for-profit subsidiary in the name of Seventh Generation Systems Integration. Aligned in mission, this organization is staffed in large part with the same great folks coming out of SGES. While SGES will continue to forge the path towards education and collaboration, SGSI will take the mission one step further.
Each client is different in both the goals and resources available to craft a solution. SGSI has a wealth of experience to draw from in order to integrate efficiency and renewable systems to meet the specific goals of each client. We believe that innovation and creativity, combined with strong technological and design skills, are the way of future energy solutions.
Where we are going
Generations to come will look back at this pinnacle of human history. Coming out of a fossil-fuel based centralized energy paradigm into one based on clean, distributed, renewable resources is the key to our collective resilience. Seventh Generation takes this challenge to heart.
Our mission of developing integrated energy systems puts us at the forefront of this societal shift. We invite you and your community to engage in this process with us, through innovative approaches aimed at implementing the change we want to be.
